Portraits

I decided to post these 2 photos and then hopefully practice on others using some of the strategies in the tutorial.

These portraits were taken in the natural environment. I wanted to change the background some but didn't like how it came out.

I filled in some of the clouds.  I discovered it is hard to manage the tools without a mouse. I wished I had more time to just practice.

I changed the brightness and contrast on this photo. I also cropped it.

Photo 1 Adjustment

 

I changed the constrast and darkened the midtones. I also tried to choose the acne area and clean it up with the spot brush correction tool. I also cropped and took out the date stamp by filling in the color of the sweatshirt. 

2nd Photoshop Image

I just cropped this photo so I could place it into my base photo.  I posted both photos.

It took me a long time to try to figure out how to combine two images! I had to go to Photoshop Online and watch some more tutorials. I am going to have to spend some time exploring and practicing to feel more confident about using the software. I was unable to outline just the body and place it into the base photo, so I did the whole image to get the assignment done.

 

I was unable to get rid of the date stamp...

 

LANDSCAPE

 

Here are my favorite Landscape photos. They were all taken on my property excluding the last one, which I captured on the way to work. At first, I guess I thought too much about trying to get that "perfect" Landscape picture and made this assignment seem much more difficult than it really had to be. All I needed to do was to look around at my surroundings, for there is beauty all around me!

So here is the proof!
